The Role of Accounts Semi-Senior:

As an integral member of the team, you'll be responsible for preparing impeccable financial statements in accordance with the latest financial reporting standards. From initial documents to final accounts, you'll handle a wide array of accounts, ensuring accuracy and adhering to proper accounting standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating accounting schedules to support financial statements
  • Meeting strict deadlines while managing time efficiently
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering top-notch service
  • Providing insightful recommendations on accounting matters and software usage
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
  • Preparing control account reconciliations and management accounts

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Enthusiastic and ambitious, with 1 year of accounting experience
  • Pursuing AAT level 3 or 4, ACCA, or ACA qualification
  • Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting systems (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook for efficient document production
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Shows confidence while engaging with clients and colleagues
  • Methodical thinker with problem-solving prowess
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to multitask under pressure

Be a vital part of the Business Services team, where you'll be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse clientele, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
