Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing annual accounts for a range of clients, but predominantly Limited companies under FRS102 Section 1a 
  • Drafting Corporation Tax returns for review by the specialist CT team
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, assisting with their professional development
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance service delivery
  • Supporting the Managers with other ad-hoc work as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice is essential
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, a general understanding of corporation tax and experience with relevant software (Xero & QuickBooks)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional qualifications such as being AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA would be beneficial, but they are willing to support and fund your study journey if desired
  • Applicants who are QBE are welcome
