Job Description

ProTalent are currently working with a 3 partner accountancy firm in Rochester to recruit a Senior Accountant:

The firm:

  • Well established accountancy firm and business advisors
  • Offer a full range of services including audit, accounts, tax, payroll, bookkeeping and financial advisory
  • 3 Partners and a great team of staff
  • Friendly working environment

The role:

  • Supporting the partners with their portfolios
  • Accounts production and accounts review for junior members of the team.
  • Training and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Tax compliance
  • Some bookkeeping work
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties

The successful applicant

  • A solid background in practice
  • Competent in accounts production for a variety of entities
  • Perhaps ACA/ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
