Job Description

ProTalent are currently working with a massively successful accountancy firm to recruit an Accounts Technician / Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in Faversham.

The firm:

  • Well established, forward thinking accountancy practice
  • They provide professional and practical assistance with all manner of accountancy and taxation requirements
  • They aim to provide a high standard of service to a wide range of clients

The role:

  • Accounts production for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies (under FRS 102)
  • Bookkeeping, VAT Returns and general ledgers
  • Assist in the preparation of Corporate and Income Tax computations
  • Liaising with clients, companies house and other third parties
  • Ongoing progression

The successful applicant:

  • Will have at least 12 months practice experience
  •  AAT Qualified or QBE
  • Have a working knowledge of Iris Accountancy/ Caseware desirable
  • Be organised and methodical and able to prioritise workload and ensure all deadlines are met
