(Senior) Business Recovery Administrator 

Ipswich or Cambridge Location 

ProTalent are currently working with a successful and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Cambridge to recruit a new Business Recovery Administrator. The firm is a sociable, supportive team looking for somebody with experience relating to administration of insolvencies

The Firm:

The Role:

  • Managing and assisting in all aspects of insolvency case administration

  • Potential to gain professional qualifications

  • Managing your own caseload, mainly corporate insolvency, solvent liquidations and restructuring cases

  • Leading meetings with directors to establish financial position of a business, identify issues and appropriate procedures

  • Recommendations to stakeholders and relevant key persons

  • Preparing financial information and draft reports for management/partner level review

  • Efficiently and confidently liaising with agents, solicitors, advisors, stakeholders, creditors and directors 

  • Producing documentation from standard packs, and ensuring statutory compliance

  • Ability to work on multiple cases simultaneously

  • Training and mentoring junior staff

 

The successful Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years experience within a Business Recovery role/department

  • Good academic record with minimum C grade GCSE Maths and English

  • Good knowledge of all  insolvency procedures and understanding the role of an Insolvency Practitioner

  • Ideally CPI qualification, but not essential

  • Attention to details

  • Must have full UK driving license with access to own transportation for occasional visits to clients and other offices

  • High level of IT literacy including MS Office - Word and Excel

  • Experience of CCH accounts software is useful but not essential

  • Familiarity with IPSfw case management system is desirable
