Job Description

ProTalent are currently working with a well established and fast growing accountancy firm with offices across Sussex. we are looking to hire a client bookkeeper for one of their offices in East Sussex.

The firm:

The role:

  • Bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
  • Bookkeeping to Trial Balance including bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
  • VAT and CIS Returns
  • Liaising with clients to ensure all records can be completed and VAT Returns filed within deadline
  • Assisting clients with bookkeeping and software queries 

The successful applicant:

  • Previous Accountancy Practice experience
  • Well rounded bookkeeping knowledge and experience
  • Good Knowledge of VAT
  • Familiar with cloud bookkeeping software such as Xero, Sage 50 or Quickbooks
  • Full time position or a minimum of 25 hours a week
  • Car owner
