Hybrid working available: Yes – minimum 2 days a week in office. Please note attendance in the office is required full time until the end of the probation period (three months)

Our client is seeking an experienced accounts professional to play a pivotal role in managing the preparation and submission of accounts and corporate tax for a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as their main point of contact.
Duties:
•    Preparation of accounts for a range of businesses, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole trades
•    Compiling accompanying tax computations and returns – corporate and personal
•    Supporting the development of trainees by reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback
•    Directly engaging with clients to resolve queries
•    Collaborating with third parties such as HMRC
•    Ensuring adherence to internal and statutory deadlines
•    Working closely with managers and team members to complete tasks
•    Preparation of partnership, trust, and personal tax returns

Desired experience/Qualifications/Qualities:
•    ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
•    3+ years of practice experience
•    Prior experience encompassing preparation of both accounts and tax returns for both unincorporated and incorporated businesses
•    Experience managing a portfolio and acting as the first point of contact for clients
•    Familiarity with the CCH software package (ideal but not required)
•    Ability to effectively and efficiently manage one’s workload
