Job Description

ProTalent is delighted to be working with an established accountancy practice firm in Luton looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior.

The successful candidate will be part of the busy and successful accounts team and will be accountable for overseeing and completing elements of the production of routine and non-routine clients accounts. This is a permanent role offering between £38,000 - £48,000 depending on experience

  • Work with clients to prepare and review accounts to agreed timescales.
  • Assist with completing client VAT returns.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical advice and assistance to clients.
  • Identify potential planning opportunities and proactively inform clients.

The successful candidate should have experience as an Accounts Senior and be ACCA/ACA Qualified or QBE.

Experience with Xero, Sage or other accounting software will be beneficial. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with clients directly.
