About the role
Our client, a dynamic and well-established company in Peterborough, is seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and confident individual for the position of Audit & Accounts Senior. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join our client's Audit & Accounts department and be a key part of their team.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Taking responsibility for the completion and finalisation of accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited Companies.
- Supervising and reviewing the preparation of client's VAT returns.
- Providing assistance in answering client queries and maintaining direct contact with clients.
- Leading audits for larger limited company clients.
- Supervising and providing training to junior staff.
- Reporting directly to a Senior Manager or Partner.
About you
Our client is looking for a professional who demonstrates an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for excellence in their work. Being ACCA or ACA-qualified and having practical experience in an accounting practice are important, but what sets you apart will be your commitment to ongoing learning.
Our client is also keen to hear from those who are AAT qualified and currently studying for, or are keen to pursue, ACCA or ACA qualifications.
