Tax Assistant

Are you looking for a career in taxation? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a well-established accountancy firm, is seeking a Tax Assistant/Trainee to join their dynamic team, working under the guidance of the Assistant Tax Manager.

As a Tax Assistant/Trainee, you will gain experience and training in various tax disciplines, allowing you to develop your skills and achieve ATT & CTA qualifications. You will be responsible for completing tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner, communicating progress to seniors and managers, and training junior team members. Professional and friendly communication with clients is also essential to this role.

You will need to be highly organised and able to manage your own time and deadlines. As part of the team, you will need to have excellent analytical and logical skills, be technically up to date, and have a flexible and committed attitude. Good IT skills and the ability to work under pressure are also required.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £24-26k and the opportunity to progress towards ATT & CTA qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build a career in taxation and wants to work for a supportive and progressive company.
