ProTalent are currently working with one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in Brighton & Hove to recruit a Trainee Accountant.

The role:

  • Working in a successful and busy audit & accountancy team
  • Comprehensive audit work for a wide range of clients
  • Statutory accounts production
  • Bookkeeping
  • Liaising with colleagues and third parties
  • Studying towards ACCA - full study support will be provided

The successful applicant:

  • Ideally a 2:1 degree or higher in accounting & finance, maths, economics or business
  • Level 3 & 4 AAT qualifications also accepted
  • Genuine passion for a career in accountancy
  • Ready to commit to ACCA studies post probation
  • Proactive attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with technology / software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing responsibilities and tasks
